Wattie's just launched three new baked bean flavours and smoko may never be the same

Reckon these are a goer?

Wattie's has just dropped some fresh new flavours of the classic Kiwi pantry staple - baked beans.

The 'UnBeanLievable Beanz' flavours are here to try and get us to be more inventive with our quick feeds. Basically, these beans are all about making your meals more exciting with hardly any effort.

Gone are the days of grabbing your basic can of beans and whacking them on some bread - or if you're like me - eating them straight outta the can and calling it a day.

They've got Caramelised Onion, Peri-Peri, and a Taco flavour to upgrade the next time you're on dinner duties or just want to switch up the ol' smoko options.

Wattie's have got some ideas for how to use these new flavours, and while you might reckon some are a bit out there, we can't knock it till we try it.

We're talking chicken and peri-peri flavoured beanz lasagne, taco flavoured beanz and veggie mac & cheese, and bacon & caramelised onion flavour beanz pastry pockets.

Actually, I reckon I could get around that last one.

If you're in Auckland and keen to see the potential of the beans, Broke Boy Taco in Mt Eden is whipping up a 'Cowboy chilli' using the taco-flavoured beanz from Wednesday 7th August until Friday 9th August.

UnBeanLievable Beanz are available to purchase in supermarkets up and down the country.
