Te Matatini finalists and Tamaki Makaurau's very own Angitu kapa haka group performed a powerful haka to Harry Styles before his NZ 'Love On Tour' show kicked off at Mt Smart Stadium on Tuesday.
The private haka was caught on video with Harry being seen watching as Angitu perform, before sharing a hongi with members of the group.
In another set of images, Harry can be seen giving his best pukana alongside the ropu.
That's not the only time Harry embraced te ao Maori at his show. He also flew a Tino Rangatiratanga flag and led the stadium into a singalong of the waiata 'Tutira Mai Nga Iwi'.
Harry began the show with 'Music For a Sushi Restaurant' and an enthusiastic "Kia Ora Auckland!" which prompted a huge cheer, but things really levelled up when he called out: "Tutira Mai Nga Iwi."
The massive 40,000-person crowd at Mount Smart didn't hesitate to launch into the iconic waiata, creating absolute scenes captured by fans filming from the back of the stadium. What a moment for Kiwi Harries everywhere!
"It's much longer than I expected!" Harry said as the song finished.
How amazing is it to see such a massive international artist getting amongst the cultural traditions here in Aotearoa? We love to see it!
