CONTENT WARNING: BARE TESTICLES
You've heard plenty about the total solar eclipse from earlier this week, but some TV viewers experienced a testicular solar eclipse.
Mexican news station RGB Media was live broadcasting the astrological phenomenon and made the naive mistake of asking viewers to send in their footage of it.
After legit clips were shown, another appeared on the screen, showing what could be the moon, the sun, or just a porchlight. Something very easily identifiable then slowly emerged from the top of the frame: A pair of balls.
The broadcast cut back to their presenters pretty quickly, but not before everyone saw the scrote.
People online, of course, were loving it.
"Someone really dropped the ball on this one," wrote one person.
"That was pretty ballsy of them to air," said another. "It's just nuts!"
"They sure got themselves into a hairy situation," a third added.
The owner of the family jewels has not come forward yet. Known nude-sharer and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee Jones shared the clip on his Instagram, leading many people to think it was him. However, he deleted it and TMZ reports someone sent it to him and he just posted it.
Another great news blooper went down last year, involving a middle finger instead of balls.
Longtime BBC news presenter Maryam Morishi flipped off millions of viewers after the camera unexpectedly cut to her. It was incredible.
Will the solar balls flasher ever reveal himself? Well, he already has but we'll probably never know his identity.
