A local Te Kuiti Liquorland fell victim to a 'ram raid' over the weekend, after 14 sheep headed inside the store during The Great NZ Muster.
The annual event, which sees hundreds of sheep get let loose through Te Kuiti's main street, happened on Saturday (April 6) and drew in thousands of spectators.
Things took a turn when 14 thirsty sheep headed into the local Liquorland and made themselves comfortable in the staff room for around 40 minutes. Maybe they just wanted a wee baaar crawl?
Speaking to NZ Herald, a Te Kuiti redient Robyn Fawcett said watching the sheep charge towards the store was "the funniest thing" she'd ever seen.
"It's so Kiwi. I just laughed. There were many giggles."
Thankfully, after a bit of help from some bystanders, the sheep were redirected out of the store, leaving only a little bit of mess behind.
Another bystander posted a video of the sheep charging into the store on TikTok, which has now been viewed over 800,000 times.
Ewe can't make this shit up!
Oh, while we're on the subject of liquor stores, anyone remember when our idiot boss Brad crashed a truck into a liquor store roof? Good times.
