Farmers' Confidence Soars Amidst Economic Shifts

"It's good heading in there on the front foot," Weir assures.

New Zealand farmers are experiencing a significant boost in confidence, reaching levels not seen since mid-2017, according to Rabobank's latest Rural Confidence Survey. 

Rabobank's Bruce Weir highlights improved pricing in the dairy and red meat sectors, alongside falling interest rates, as the main drivers behind this optimism. 

Despite challenges still remaining, Weir expresses hope that confidence will continue to rise as 2025 fast approaches.
