We may have had Hot Cross Buns in the supermarket since January, but if you love the baked goods at Easter time, then you might be excited about this new Hot Cross collab.
New World supermarkets and Nelson's finest, Pic's Peanut Butter, are joining together to create the Gooey Peanut Butter Choc Cross Buns, available at selected New World stores across Aotearoa.
The limited-edition hot cross bun is a brioche-style, filled with chocolate chips, gooey peanut butter and caramel in the centre. YUM.
The new styled bun was created by the bakers at New World Kaikoura when they competed in Foodstuffs South Island's annual Hot Cross Bun Competition.
And that's a lot of peanut butter!
Easter's only a couple of months away, so there's a lot of time to indulge in these delicious, gooey hot cross buns.
