One of the 'Little Rascals' is causing big trouble after calling his daughters "dishwashers" in a social media post celebrating the birth of his son.
Bug Hall, most famous for his role as Alfalfa in the 90s film ‘Little Rascals’, recently welcomed a baby boy. While it was the former actor's fifth child, he reckoned it was his first "heir". “I have an heir,” he wrote on X, alongside pictures of little Mark Athanasius Chad Anthony Hall-Barnett.
Innocent enough, right? Well, things quickly took a turn when one commenter pointed out that Hall "already has daughters".
"WTF is wrong with you?!" they added.
“I said heir, not dishwasher,” he replied.
His comment sent shockwaves across X, with even more commenters sharing their outrage.
"You’re disgusting. You’re publicly demeaning your daughters to try and generate rage bait clicks,” one person wrote.
Another said: “This man has 4 daughters by the way. But good luck building an empire with your ‘heir’!”
“Congratulations. You’re an awful person. Also, you’re not at all funny,” added a third.
Despite the backlash, Hall doubled down, claiming that he and his wife laughed about that same "joke" while she was in labour. “Most normal people are still rich in humour and joy. Stay miserable,” he wrote.
Hall has since given an interview to 'Catholicism.org' about his "(X)ploits" - and his various beliefs - so we think it's fair to say he's enjoying the publicity. We're not sure his daughters will feel the same way when they're all grown up.
