After hard-launching their relationship over the weekend, NFL Star Travis Kelce has talked about his relationship with Taylor Swift.
As well as playing in the NFL for the Chiefs, Travis hosts a podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce, called 'New Heights', and after all the rumours, finally spoke about Taylor Swift and having her come along to his latest game.
"You had a special guest watching the game," joked Jason. "How does it feel that Taylor Swift has finally put you on the map?".
"Shout out to Taylor for showing up, that was pretty ballsy," said Travis.
"'I just thought it was awesome how everyone in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her. The friends and family. She looked amazing, everybody was talking about her in a great light."
Much like Taylor being spotted watching his game, rumours of their relationship first began when Travis was spotted watching her Eras Tour concert at his Chief's home stadium in Kansas City.
"I told her, you know, 'I've seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead," Travis told The Pat McAfee Show. "You might have to see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one is a little more lit'."
And he wasn't lying, saying on his podcast "Shout out to Taylor for coming through and seeing me rock the stage."
"The day went perfect for Chiefs fans of course," Travis continued.
"To see the slow motion chest bumps, to see the high fives with mom, to see how the Chiefs kingdom was all excited she was there, that s*** was absolutely hysterical, it was definitely a game I'll remember, that's for damn sure,' Travis added. 'And then we just slid off in the getaway car in the end."
Having been a topic they've avoided talking about for some time, Jason said "This has been in the rumour mill for quite some time, you clearly have wanted to keep this thing less public,".
Travis replied, "I know I brought all this attention to me, I told everyone how butt hurt I was that I didn't get to meet Taylor".
"What's real is that it is my personal life, I want to respect both of our lives. She's not in the media as much as I am, doing this show every single week.
I'm enjoying life, I sure as hell enjoyed this weekend so everything moving forward, I think me talking about sports and saying 'all right' now, will be where I keep it."
Fans of not just Travis Kelce and his podcast, but Swifties too have been quick to comment on the podcast, saying how perfectly he addressed the topic.
"Laughed at himself, complimented her, didn't seem phased by the attention, and kept it classy with the privacy. Perfect response" wrote one fan with another simply saying "As a Swiftie- we love a respectful king."
