Steve Coogan joins Coldplay on stage to perform ABBA and Kate Bush songs

What a brilliant performance!

In Coldplay's penultimate show at Wembley Stadium in London, Steve Coogan joined Coldplay to perform Kate Bush's 'Running Up That Hill' and ABBA's 'Knowing Me, Knowing You'.

Steve Coogan appeared on the stage as his classic character Alan Patridge.

Steve made a few jokes in his hilarious intro before singing out 'Running Up That Hill' with the band. The entire audience could not stop but sing along at the Wembley Stadium.

"Chris, what do you think the song is about?" Steve asked Chris Martin.

"Because it can't be just about running?" he added.

"It might be about overecoming problems" Chris said.

To which 'Alan Patridge' said "got it".

Coldplay and 'Alan Patridge' also performed on ABBA's hit "Knowing Me, Knowing You".

"Knowing Me, Knowing You" was one of Coogan's comedy show on BBC and had featured various ABBA songs.

Fans were really thrilled and were not expecting to see Simon Pegg on tambourine and Adam singing ABBA at the Coldplay concert.

"Coldplay were absolutely incredible. didn't expect Simon Pegg on tambourine and then Alan Partridge singing Abba" one fan wrote.

After Simon's great tambourine work at the show, he's been labelled as the best tambourine player ever.

"The world's number one tambourine player" Chris Martin told.

"This is Simon Pegg".
