Red Hot Chili Peppers reunite with OG guitarist John Frusciante, announce Josh Klinghoffer is leaving the band

Great news for old school Chili fans!

This is EPIC news for many Red Hot Chili Pepper fans around the world.

The Chilis shared on their Instagram today that there have been some changes to their lineup - with Josh Klinghoffer departing the band and an old face returning.

Frusciante featured on many of the band's most successful albums - 1989's Mothers Milk, 1991's Blood Sugar Sex Magik, 1999's Californication, 2002's By The Way and 2006's Stadium Arcadium.

He left the band in 2009 during their extended hiatus and was replaced fulltime by Josh Klinghoffer.
