Margot Robbie gives a tour of Barbie's Dreamhouse, and life in plastic looks freaking fantastic

I wanna be a Barbie girl, living in THAT Barbie world!!

Architectural Digest just featured the Barbie Dreamhouse on their YouTube channel! If you were all about that Barbie life growing up, this is the moment both you and I have been waiting for!

In the super nostalgic 7-minute video, the lovely Margot Robbie takes us on a tour of the set for the upcoming film, and let me tell you, it's a pink explosion up in there!

We're talking pink chairs, pink doors, pink pool islands—heck, even Margot herself is rocking a pink look. I mean, seriously, I half expected the grass to be pink too, but even the geniuses behind the Barbie set thought that was a bit too much.

"I can't even tell you the meeting we've had about pink," Writer and Director Greta Gerwig joked. Can you blame them?

The film's designers revealed their inspiration drew heavily from the late '50s through to the '60s. They described the aesthetic as "wonderfully fake but emotionally artificial spaces."

It was a very strategic design that came into play during the making of this film. Margot shared the magic with us while showing off her Barbie fridge full of a mixture of things that are physical and things that are 2D decals.

Imagine opening the fridge after a late night out and realizing the cola can is painted on. Major bummer, am I right?

Oh, and don't even get me started on the pool. Yep, you guessed it, it's also painted on.

It's crazy to see how it would actually look if we were to step into the wonderful world of imagination we had as children, and it's made me become even more excited to see the final film on the big screen.

So mark your calendars, my fellow Barbie fans! 'Barbie' hits the big screen on July 20, and I'm in desperate need of a girls' night out!
