Barbie Ferreira won't be back to play Kat in season 3 of 'Euphoria' and fans are kicking off

"This is awful, r u kidding? We blame Sam Levison."

Barbie Ferreira has confirmed she's saying a "very teary-eyed goodbye" to her character Kat from 'Euphoria', announcing she won't be back for season three.

In an emotional statement shared on her Instagram story, Barbie wrote:

"After four years of getting to embody the most special and enigmatic character Kat, I'm having to say a very teary-eyed goodbye."

"I hope many of you could see yourself in her, as I did, and that she brought you joy to see her journey into the character she is today," she continued.

"I put all my care and love into her and I hope you guys could feel it. Love you, Katherine Hernandez."

The star's message was posted alongside a piece of fan art depicting Kat in her sexiest cam girl form, created by Barbie's 'Euphoria' castmate Hunter Schafer, who by the way, is a super talented artist as it turns out.

Kat's character featured much less in season two, with her storyline rapidly tapering off amid rumours she had beef with director Sam Levinson.

Barbie never addressed those rumours directly, but she did say a lot of what was being written about the show was "untrue".

That hasn't stopped viewers from pointing the finger at the man behind the camera, though.

"This is awful, r u kidding? We blame Sam Levinson," one angry fan wrote on Twitter.

"No, this has me so upset. When I catch Sam Levison, I SWEAR," said another.

"They did her character so dirty man," wrote a third.

We don't know much else about S3 of 'Euphoria' just yet, except for that it's happening, and Zendaya and Dominique Fike are confirmed to return.
