Sydney Sweeney's call with mum after her two Emmy nominations is so fking wholesome

She's never, EVER BEEN HAPPIER!

Sydney Sweeney has never, ever been happier (but in a much less manic way than her Euphoria character Cassie) after earning two Emmy nominations.

A clip shared to the 24-year-old's Instagram showed her making an emotional phone call to her mum after hearing the news, and it's honestly extremely adorable.

"Mom! Mom!" she screams as her mum answers the phone to congratulate her.

Sydney is clearly overwhelmed, crying and laughing before having to tell her mum she'd call her back because "everyone's calling".

It would all be quite relatable if the phone call was about anything other than, I dunno, TWO EMMY NOMINATIONS. I called my mum this week to share the good news my car passed it's warrant, for example. Pretty much the same.

The star captioned the vid: "What a morning! thank you so much to the @televisionacad for my Emmy nominations! It's an honour to know that both Olivia and Cassie have connected with so many.

"I'm so proud of both these shows and grateful to everybody that's been a part of them.

Sydney was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, for her role Cassie on 'Euphoria', and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie, for her work as Olivia on 'The White Lotus'. That's a hell of a lot of recognition for such a young star.

There's no downtime for the talented actress though, as she's already started filming for the upcoming Marvel flick 'Madame Web' alongside Dakota Johnson.

"I'm very excited. My first Marvel movie," she told Variety.

"So it's been a lot of fun, a lot of training and just prep work to get into it."

Congrats, Sydney - geddit girl!
