Patoka Farmer Isabelle Crawshaw: Cyclone Recovery, Community Leadership + Netball

"Receiving the KiwiBank medal was humbling, but it truly belongs to our entire community," Isabelle says.

Patoka farmer Isabelle Crawshaw received a KiwiBank medal for her outstanding efforts in the response and recovery following the devastation caused by Cyclone Gabrielle.

Crawshaw tells Dom about the community effort and how she is even more proud of the recognition the wider community received over her personal recognition.

She also delves into her critical role on the Rural Community Board of the Hastings District Council, emphasising the importance of addressing rural priorities post-cyclone.

Coached by netball legend Irene Van Dyke, Crawshaw reflects on her recent participation in the Netball NZ Open Champs, where she competed for Hawke's Bay.
