'The fight the world’s been waiting for': Netflix drops 'Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson' trailer

“This is no ordinary fight.”

It’s “the fight the world’s been waiting for” - the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson trailer has just dropped on Netflix

“There’s never been a night this big, this is no ordinary fight,” the narrator begins, hyping up what’s being called one of the most anticipated matches in boxing history.

Set to the track ‘Rumble’ by Flowdan, Fred Again, and Skrillex, we see Paul declaring he’s “the face of this sport” before cutting to some of the greatest clips of the “baddest man on the planet,” Tyson.

“No one can get close to me, I’m the best fighter in the world,” Tyson once claimed in a post-match interview, and you can feel that energy in the trailer.

At 27-years-old, Paul currently holds a 10-1 record with 7 KOs, while 58-year-old Tyson boasts a 50-6 record with 44 KOs. It looks like an even slate on paper, but it’s one very seasoned fighter against the YouTuber turned “disrupter” of boxing.

In a recent lie detector test with his brother, Paul said he doesn’t believe age will play a big factor in the fight’s result.

“Mike is a killer at any age,” Jake said, before claiming that he truly believes he will beat Tyson.

Spoiler: That came back as a lie… interesting.

And for anyone thinking the fight might be rigged, Jake straight up denied that the outcome would be predetermined, stating it’s a “federal crime.”

It’s all set to go down at AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas, on 16 November, 5 pm NZT, live on Netflix.

It’s shaping up to be HUGE. In the co-main event, Matchroom’s undisputed super lightweight champ Katie Taylor will be defending her title against Amanda Serrano in one of the biggest rematches in women’s boxing history.

Plus, Mario Barrios vs Abel Ramos and Neeraj Goyat vs Whindersson Nunes will round out the card.

Netflix is also releasing ‘COUNTDOWN: PAUL VS TYSON’, a three-part docuseries starting November 7th, leading up to what’s set to be a must-watch match.
