From the minute we watched James fist-pump as he saw his gorgeous bride Carmen walk down the aisle, we knew this couple had something special!
The Married at First Sight NZ couple, who were 'married' by Flynny during the 2019 season of the reality TV series, announced this week that they're expecting another to join their family - a baby!
The Christchurch-based couple shared the news on their Instagram, with Carmen writing "SURPRISE!!! 3 x peas, 1 x pod."
"Can't believe we are pretty much halfway, we can't wait to meet you baby GIRLYYYY," she added.
The photo features Carmen and James standing on a beach hill, with Carmen's noticeable baby bump, and James's equally noticeable grin.
Carmen and James were the only couple to have stayed together from that year's experiment and had quickly formed a strong relationship with their daily 'toolbox' check-ins and matching "W Anchor" tattoos.
And while the couple aren't legally married yet, they've already told Flynny he'll need to be available to conduct the ceremony for real!
MAFS NZ's Brett & Angel from season one are the only other couple who have remained together since the experiment. The pair, who have been married and living in Christchurch together since 2017, have a two-year-old daughter Vienna.
A new fourth season of MAFS NZ is set to return to Three on May 26.
