Jim Rudd: From Fields To Frets - A Musical Fundraiser For Heritage

"Music is a cherished thread in the tapestry of my life," he says.

This weekend, Marlborough's multi-talented farmer and musician, Jim Rudd, is hosting the 'World Tour of Ward City' to support the Flaxbourne Heritage Centre

Crediting Sally Peter as the 'main driver' behind the whole project, Jim brings his musical flair to the World Tour of Ward City, promising a night of melodies and memories.

Rudd says that the band, 'The Aftershocks Collective', is named in homage to the region's resilience post-Kaikōura earthquake, and will entertain with a diverse setlist including classics from Fleetwood Mac to The Rolling Stones.

He also chats to Dom about his life on the farm and how he is balancing his musical aspirations with his full-time job.
