Exploring Art + Nature At The Hurunui Garden Festival

"We've built this garden with love, making it easy-care but with interesting, quirky elements," McIntosh shares.

The seventh annual Hurunui Garden Festival is coming up, running from October 31 to November 3, showcasing a range of stunning North Canterbury gardens and homesteads.

Culverden artist and gardener Jane McIntosh whose 'The Top Cottage' garden features in the festival, talks to Dom about what it means to be part of the event.

Known for her captivating landscapes and portraits, McIntosh will showcase her restored top cottage garden, which she describes as "a fun garden to work in."

She says visitors can expect a delightful mix of rural life, art, and horticulture, making it a perfect weekend outing.

Tickets are available at the gate for $10, promising a beautiful weekend to enjoy art, nature, and community.
