Dairy Prices On The Rise In Second Consecutive Positive Event

"So two things at play there – a little bit of demand coming back and low volume helping prices," Davison explains.

Despite the fact that the dairy industry is now in what is known as the 'off-season' with less produce on offer, the latest Global Dairy Trade (GDT) Event has shown generally positive results all around.

High Ground Dairy Expert Stu Davison explains to Dom George why he thinks the GDT Index has risen 1.7%, despite a decrease in product, discusses other significant results and what the immediate future for dairy could look like.

He also touches on Fonterra's 'cautious' milk price announcement and shares his thoughts on whether there is potential for those prices to also increase in time.
