Former New Zealand rugby player Billy Guyon has passed away at the age of 33.
Across his career, Guyton played for the Blues, Crusaders and Hurricanes in Super Rugby, and represented the Maori All Blacks, Tasman and North Otago.
His past teams and fellow teammates shared the news this morning; The Blues official social media account wrote:
"We are shocked and saddened by the tragic death of Billy Guyton. He was a talented rugby player, who made 24 appearances for the Blues between 2016-2017.
"We cannot imagine the heartache his family and friends must be feeling at this difficult time. To everyone who knew Billy, we send them our sincere sympathy."
They signed the post off with some links and phone numbers to different mental health and suicide hotlines (you can look at a full list here.)
This morning, Bryce paid tribute to the late legend, saying:
"Billy Gordon is a guy that, you know, spent his time entertaining a lot of us as a great footy player and a great team man.
"So, Rumble and Rock thoughts and respects to all of the friends and whanau of Billy and anybody who's going through anything similar to this at the moment with loss, with friends or family.
"And as always, we want you here. You'd be missed if you weren't here."
