A 16-Year Case Study Of Bog Roy Station

"A goal without the steps to get there is just a dream, but to have a goal with the steps to get there is a goal and it probably will be achieved," Anderson says.

Gundy Anderson from Bog Roy Station was one of the keynote speakers at the recent NZ Grassland Association Conference in Oamaru.

With 16 years of experience, Anderson details his transition from traditional grass-based systems to a successful lucerne grazing model, inspired by his visit to South Africa.

He emphasises the significance of strategic goal setting, likening it to a well-planned mountain climb, to achieve ambitious farming objectives.

Anderson highlights the importance of accumulated knowledge and careful planning over shortcuts in agriculture.
