A remastered version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 has officially been announced, and is all set to bring back those sweet early 2000s memories, but with modern improvements.
Following on from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 getting the remaster treatment back in 2020, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is now set to have a complete remake, and will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The remake will feature rebuilds of the original parks and challenges, with smooth gameplay, updated graphics and 4K visuals on supported devices.
The game will also feature new areas like an abandoned Waterpark, offering a lazy river for tricks, grindable slides, and extra challenges.
While the remaster boasts a bunch of new features, the core of the game will stay the same. You’ll still be able to complete career mode, play single sessions and speed runs, explore free skate and play the classic levels that we know and love.
“Everything you loved is back, but revamped with more skaters, new parks, gnarlier tricks, eardrum shattering music, plus a whole lot more,” reads an official synopsis.
The trailer of the remake is full of nostalgia - it features Motörhead’s ‘Ace of Spades,’ one of the most popular songs from the Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 soundtrack - and it’s got fans hyped.
“Why am I, a grown ass man, tearing up. God I loved these games. Cant wait to relive them!” one person commented.
While another person wrote, “Couldn't stop smiling the entire time. Ace of Spades, Foundry, Canada, Airport - this is my entire childhood.”
Pre-orders are open now, with the game officially launching on July 11th.
We are so ready for this!
