This year for Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori we brought in the Big Dawg, the GOAT, legendary broadcaster Julian Wilcox to assess how we're doing as a station on our te reo Māori journey, and most importantly to see if Tammy is fulfilling his role as the self appointed Rangatira of George. In-between the kōrerorero we learnt some fantastic tricks of the trade when it comes to whaikōrero, and all about how Julian went from mispronouncing words, to one of our most valued Māori language speakers.
