Dick Van Dyke has shared the secrets to his long and happy life, saying exercise has helped him live into his late 90s.
The 'Mary Poppins' icon has been performing on screens since 1955 and will turn 99 in December this year.
And while the Emmy, Tony and Grammy Award-winning star is still sprightly in his old age, he says there are only a few tips he can think of to help others reach their late 90s.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the acting legend said: "Attitude about life I think has a lot to do with it. I've always looked at the good side, I guess, and expected good things to happen."
With his wife Arlene Silver, 52, at his side, he continued: "I've often tried to think what did I do to live this long? And I can't figure out - I've always exercised. We still go to the gym three days a week. And I can still, you know, move pretty well."
He added, "I don't really watch my diet or anything. Stayed skinny, that helps."
The couple also addressed the 46-year age difference between them, with Arlene saying: "We were friends for so long that when I told people that I know (about our relationship), they were happy."
The makeup artist, who first met Dick in 2011 before they married in 2012, added: "I was scared. I mean, the facts are our age difference. But it's so irrelevant."
"I think, when you see us together, it's like you don't even think about it. We don't think about it."
