If you're a big Harry Potter fan, we're sorry to bring you this news.
Daniel Radcliffe has spoken out, revealing that he wouldn't consider returning to the role of Harry Potter anytime soon.
Following the 20-year anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, rumours sparked around the possibility of a Cursed Child movie adaption.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone director Chris Columbus earlier spoke out over the prospect of the cast reuniting for a possible adaptation: "A version of Cursed Child with Dan, Rupert, and Emma at the right age, it's cinematic bliss.
In an interview with New York Times for his upcoming film 'The Lost City', alongside co-stars Chaning Tatum and Sandra Bullock, Daniel spoke about the possibility of a Cursed Child film.
In a nutshell, he essentially said "Yeah nah", explaining that while he enjoyed doing the Harry Potter reunion, it didn't mean he was interested in diving back into the role.
"I'm getting to a point where I feel like I made it out of Potter OK and I'm really happy with where I am now, and to go back would be such a massive change to my life. I'm never going to say never, but the Star Wars guys had like 30, 40 years before they went back. For me, it's only been 10" he said.
"It's not something I'm really interested in doing right now" he told New York Times.
So what we're hearing is not right now, but we can hold hope for the future, at least that's what we're telling ourselves anywayđ
