Big Time Rush are back: The iconic boy band release a new album after 10 years

my nostalgia is running wild

Big Time Rush, the boy band we grew up with, is back with new music, releasing a brand new album after almost a decade.

Members Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos PenaVega, and Logan Henderson starred in the iconic Nickelodeon series 'Big Time Rush' from 2009 to 2013 when the show wrapped up after four seasons.

It's been 10 years since they released their third studio album '24/seven', and now, they have delivered some of the best news of 2023 by giving us a brand new album 'Another Life'.

The brand new album, which dropped on June 2nd, features 10 hits from the boys, which reviews are calling 'Fun Y2K sounding pop songs'.

Can we have a moment for the glow-up?

Throwback to 10-year-old me rushing home, no pun intended, after school to watch Big Time Rush and live my best life.

I'm sure you remember the iconic theme tune that brings all the memories flooding back but I will warn you, once you listen, you'll have it in your head all day long.

That tune just brings it all back.

In case you needed another throwback, they've reunited with their manager from the show Gustavo Rocque who was played by Stephen Kramer Glickman.

You might be wondering, what have they been doing for the past 10 years?

They've been busy! Here's the scoop:

After the show wrapped up, Kendall continued writing music with his band Heffron Drive and made acting appearances in various TV shows including the School of Rock. He's now 32 and living with his girlfriend Micaela von Turkovich, who he's been dating since 2015.

Carlos is now a Dad! He has three children ages six, four, and two to his wife Alexa PenaVega, who he married in 2014. Like Kendall, he's made appearances in various TV shows and films including Grease Live and recently competed on season 21 of Dancing with the Stars.

Since the Big Time Rush days, James has starred in many films and TV series including 'See Dad Run' and 'Room for Murder' as well as appearing on Dancing with the Stars and Celebrity Big Brother. He's also working on solo music, dropping his debut album 'How I Like It' in 2017.

After the show ended, Logan took some time away from the Spotlight to focus on his personal life but in January 2017, he released his first solo single 'Sleepwalker'. Since then, he dropped a debut album called 'Echoes of 'Departure and the Endless Street of Dreams P.t. 1' in 2018.

Alongside their album, the group also announced a 35-date tour across North America but unfortunately, there's no word on whether they'll make it across the ditch anytime soon.

Although, fans are speculating a return of the TV show for season 5 after seeing the boys back together.

Kendall, James, Carlos, and Logan spoke on the Today Show about the possibility of a reboot or some sort of revival of the series.

I'm going to take that as a good sign.

If only this could inspire the One Direction boys to get back together for one more album...
