Battling Wilding Pines: Ket Bradshaw’s Environmental Mission

"It was such a revelation to bike slowly through these amazing landscapes and take it all in," she says.

Ket Bradshaw, a wilding conifer removal advocate through the South Marlborough Landscape Restoration Trust, shares her passionate mission to combat wilding pines and restore landscapes.

She discusses the environmental threat posed by invasive tree species like Douglas fir and how a hike in the Branch River area sparked her commitment to the cause.

Bradshaw delves into her 17-day bike ride from Marlborough Sounds to Milford Sounds to raise awareness and support for wilding pine control and encourages others to attend an upcoming volunteer day later this month.
