If having a rave on a tropical island in Fiji wasn’t enough, the crew behind Beachcomber have now said there will be a massive $10 million makeover to the iconic resort.
Home to the annual 'Spring Break' party, which George has been part of for yonks, Beachcomber holds a special place in punters' hearts.
Spring Break organiser Rich Henry is all for it, saying,
this investment will take our trips to a whole new level.
The aim of the game is to level up Beachcomers into a 4-star resort. From a brand spanking new kitchen alongside a top tier menu and high-end head chef to the saving grace of it all… air con!
By the end of March next year, 38 of the rooms are set to have a full overhaul, along with major upgrades to the bar and restaurant.
The remaining 12 rooms will get their spruce up in June 2025.
Last on the list of changes will be a whopping 40 NEW rooms added to the facility, all ready to go in early 2026. That means 90 rooms to accommodate the forever growing Spring Break crew.
Don’t you worry, with all these new features on the way, we've been assured the culture of the island will stay the same, with the legendary Mumma Lesiand and her troops all staying on.
The islands new owners Mark and Brendon Deely of Vision Hotels are
excited to breathe new life into Beachcomber, a destination that holds such a special place in the hearts of many travellers.
If this doesn't convince you to book some leave for next year's Spring Break I don’t know what will.
