'Junk food graveyard': Is Lift the latest drink to be discontinued?

Not again!

According to a TikToker, Coca-Cola Australia could be discontinuing Lift, the delicious, tangy, lemon-flavoured soft drink.

Food reviewer @russ.eats broke the tragic news.

He started the video by saying: "Righto, I heard a rumour today that I wanted youse to hear from me first."

I'm not sure if I'm prepared to have one of my favourite fizzy be "put down" and in all honesty, I have no clue what that's even supposed to mean?

But there's good news for fans of the tangy soft drink! According to ol' mate Russ the fizzy could be seeing a dramatic glow up.

Well, sort of...

"It is however being replaced by Sprite Lemon, which I already find a bit confusing," Russ said.

"And they've added caffeine to it, so if your kids like a lemony soft drink they're going to have to stick to these three because you don't want them getting caffeine into them.

"They're annoying as f**k already."

Mood!

Coca-Australia have commented on the rumour saying: "We don't have anything to share right now but we're always evolving our product portfolio to provide more of what people want."

"Stay tuned!"

We'll be waiting patiently.

If they do discontinue the soft drink it will just be adding to our disappointment after the news of Le Snaks being discontinued back in June.

The cracker and cheese dip combination was looked forward to by thousands upon thousands of Kiwi kids every morning tea and lunch and no all we have left is our very large and absolutely necessary stock pile of the snack in our pantries. Please don't tell me I will now have to go out and buy a shit load of Lift to sit with it.

My pantry and bank account can't handle any more!
