Sean 'Diddy' Combs has been convicted on a prostitution charge but acquitted of racketeering and sex trafficking.
On the third day of deliberations, the jury found the 55-year-old rapper guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
However, they acquitted him of two counts of sex trafficking and one count of racketeering conspiracy, charges which could have put him behind bars for the rest of his life.

Although he was found not guilty of the most serious charges, the Last Night hitmaker could still face a maximum of ten years in prison.
According to The Associated Press, Combs held his hands in a prayer motion and subtly pumped his fist as the verdicts were read out.
His defence attorney, Marc Agnifilo, asked the judge if the rapper could be immediately released on bail and allowed to return to his house in Florida. However, Assistant U.S. Attorney Maurene Comey argued that he should remain incarcerated, saying there's a "real risk that he will flagrantly disregard orders from this court, that he will commit new crimes and that he will attempt to flee justice" before sentencing.
Judge Arun Subramanian asked each side to present their arguments in letters for him to consider.
After the judge adjourned the court, Combs reportedly wiped his face, knelt at his chair and bowed his head in prayer as his family stood up and applauded. As he was led out of the courtroom and back into custody, he reportedly told them that he'll "be home soon".
Combs has been behind bars in New York since he was arrested in September 2024.
The accusations against him began in November 2023 when his ex-girlfriend, the trial's star witness Cassie Ventura, filed a lawsuit alleging sexual abuse. They settled out of court the following day.

Combs is also facing a series of civil sexual abuse lawsuits. He has denied the allegations.
