Dave Grohl Spends 56th Birthday Cooking for LA Wildfire Victims

The Foos frontman is back at it.

Amidst the tragic wildfires in LA, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl got his mitts dirty to help out those in need.

The non-profit organisation ‘Feed The Streets LA’ is providing cooked meals for people who’ve been misplaced due to the fires, as well as frontline workers like firefighters. ‘Feed The Streets’ Instagram showed the rockstar stirring a giant pot of chilli, as well as pushing big carts along the street.

It's not the first time Dave has rolled up his sleeves for a good cause. Just last February, Grohl was on the barbie, grilling up pork butts on Super Bowl Sunday for The Woodlands Family Shelter. 2023 saw him put in an 18-hour shift at Feed The Streets.

Sightings of Dave have become rarer these days, after he revealed he had cheated on his wife, and was expecting a child with an unnamed woman.

Back in September, he told followers on Instagram: “I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage."

"I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness," he added.

The former Nirvana drummer's social media has been quiet ever since, as he's kept his head down and stayed out of the spotlight.

The Foo Fighters, whose hit 'Everlong' took out the number one spot in the Rock 2000 countdown last year, reportedly cancelled plans for a 2025 tour in the wake of the controversy.
