Lace Up & Get Ready to Run! Whether you're a walker, jogger, or runner, Round the Bays is the event for you! Get ready to hit the pavement—and the beach—on an epic course packed with entertainment, energy, and a whole lot of fun.
The Course We’re kicking things off on the edge of the Christchurch Estuary on Tidal View—and yes, we checked, it’ll be full tide! From there, you’ll cruise along Linwood Ave, turn right onto Dyers Road, and soak up entertainment every 400 metres to keep you moving and grooving. Next, it’s a right onto Bridge Street, leading to The Parade—where the real fun begins! Choose Your Own Adventure!
🏃 Fast Track: If you're all about speed, take the Marine Parade route and boost straight past the pier.
🏖️ Scenic Route: Prefer a change of scenery? Hit the beach track, feel the sand between your toes, and enjoy the ocean views before rejoining the main route.
Either way, your final stretch will take you to Thomson Park, where the good vibes continue!
The Finish Line Celebration Cross the finish line and claim your finisher’s medal, grab a cool drink, and enjoy the ultimate after-party at Thomson Park!
