Grab your friends and whanau and join us on Saturday, 15th February. Street entertainment starts at 5:30pm which will include big flair, big hair, sounds and sparkle! The Parade kicks off at Tole Street at 7:30pm with the parade finishing at Western Park at approximately 9:30pm.
Make it a whole weekend of loving by adding it to your calendar - there is no bigger reason to celebrate love than by attending this inclusive and diverse event – and there is no better time to show your support for marginalised communities.
Wear your most colourful clothes, sprinkle some glitter, wave those rainbow flags and bring the whole family to dance, smile and enjoy the pizzazz that the Parade brings! If there’s a proposal on the cards – maybe this is the place to do it!
There will be representatives from all parts of the LGBTQIA+ communities, public services and corporate businesses showing their commitment to a community that is inclusive and diverse with energy, creativity, humour and fun.
