• How do I earn entries?

  Go to your dashboard and check out the different challenges. If a challenge is grey, it means it’s not started. If it has a ‘ring’, it means you’ve started the challenge and you’re on your way to earning entries. If the challenge is solid, you’ve completed it and you will be awarded entries. Binge challenges are a bit different - they are endless and have no limit to the entries you can earn.

  Important: Only activity on rova.nz (the website) counts toward entries. Listening via the rova app does not earn points.

• What is a ‘Streak’ Challenge and how does it work?

  Streak challenges are indicated by yellow badges and reward you with entries for completing activities on consecutive days. If you miss a day, you’ll break the streak, the counter will reset to zero, and you’ll have to start again. Once you close the ring and complete the challenge, you’ll be awarded the entries.

• What is an ‘Explore’ Challenge and how does it work?

  Explore challenges are indicated by green badges and reward you with entries for completing different activities. Once you close the ring and complete the challenge, you’ll be awarded the entries.

• What is a ‘Binge’ challenge and how does it work?

  Binge challenges are indicated by purple badges and reward you with entries for listening, watching or reading content. These challenges are endless, and there is no limit to the number of entries you can earn. The more content you consume, the more entries you get, and you are awarded entries as you go (you don’t have to close a circle).

• I’ve started the challenge late, do I still have a chance?

  Yes! Even with one entry you still have a chance to enter the draw

• I’ve started a challenge but my entries aren't showing?

  ‘Explore’ and ‘Streak’ challenges only award points once you have finished the task. For example, if the challenge requires you to listen to four podcasts, and you have listened to two podcasts, you won’t receive the entries until you have listened to the fourth podcast.

• I’ve definitely completed challenges but I still don’t see the points?

  This could relate one of a few different issues:

  • Some challenges do not award points until you have completed multiple tasks. Check the type of challenge for more detail.

  • Are you sure you are using rova.nz? Right now, only activity on rova.nz earns you points. Using the rova app will NOT earn entries. Make sure you are using rova.nz and not the app.

  • In some cases points can take up to 24 hours to show.

• Are there any Terms and Conditions?

  The 'Explore to Win' competition is subject to the T&Cs here.

• When does the competition start and end?

  This competition starts on April 23, 2025 and ends on May 4, 2025

• Can I use multiple devices?

  Yes, but only activity from one device will be counted.

• What time zone is the competition based on?

  All timing is based on NZST or NZDT / whichever is relevant.

• When will I find out if I have won the challenge?

  The prize winner will be notified by email or phone number and announced on the rova website.

• Can I enter the competition if I don’t have a rova account?

  No, you must have a verified rova account and you must be signed in.
