Take on the challenge, Lake Taupo Rotary's Across the Lake Swim is BACK for 2025!
Happening Saturday 22nd February, this iconic open water swimming event caters for a wide range of swimming abilities and has been running for over 60 Years.
Clad in compulsory wetsuits, swimmers splash their way through cold, refreshing water from Acacia Bay to Three Mile Bay every year to help raise funds for the Taupo community.
It's a challenging swim for sure, but that's not enough to put off returning competitors year after year!
There are options for all swimming abilities:
The iconic 4.2km option, plus 2km and 1km options.
