DUE TO OVERWHELMING DEMAND, NEW SHOW ADDED IN AUCKLAND & CHRISTCHURCH!
Ed Sheeran has announced he’s heading back to our shores in 2026, bringing his highly anticipated ‘Loop Tour’ for FIVE nights in THREE New Zealand cities.
He’s promising huge nights full of intimate acoustic moments and full stadium sing-alongs!
The global hitmaker is coming stacked with fresh new tunes from his upcoming album ‘Play’ to treat Auckland’s GO Media Stadium on 16 & 17 January, Wellington’s Sky Stadium on 21 January, and Christchurch’s Apollo Projects Stadium on 24 & 25 January.
Ed last visited NZ back in 2023, playing to a whopping 170,000 fans with his ‘Mathematics Tour’, but this tour marks 11 years since he last played in Christchurch.
Having already sold over 2.5 million tickets across Australia and New Zealand to date, Ed Sheeran’s ‘Loop Tour’ will be bringing the best of his latest work, including hot new hits ‘Azizam’, ‘Sapphire’ and ‘Old Phone’.
‘Play’ will be dropping Friday, 12 September, so there’s plenty of time to learn the lyrics back to front before belting them amongst a crowd of thousands!
Aside from new tracks, the tour is promising live shows “filled with surprises, all-new stage production and all the hits fans know and love".
Ed wants to make every live show a night to remember.
“I said from the beginning, everything I do around this album has to be playful – that’s why we’re doing gigs on rooftops, singing in cowboy hats, and building pubs for folk jams,” Ed said.
I’m really proud of it, and I can’t wait to bring it to fans live.
So are we saying Cowboy hats and playful fits are the dress code? ‘Cause we’re ALL for that.
