Someone's gone and made a 'healthy' fairybread replacing sprinkles with veggies

"that's not fairy bread that's disappointed confetti butter with a side of toast."

Sometimes, I surprise myself with things I didn't know I was very passionate about.

And today, I found out that apparently 'not messing with the basic yet sacred Fairy Bread recipe' can now be added to that list.

Note: there are some uncensored swear words coming up, yes I could have *'d them out but I didn't out of pure anger towards this video.

A 'cook' on TikTok has figured out the #1 way of giving your child trust issues by creating a 'healthy' version of everyone's favourite primary school party food.

"My daughter wanted fairy bread and I said no," says Fatima Homran at the start of the video.

"Hand me the bread, veggies and coconut."

I'm sorry but you lost me after bread.

Veggies? Coconut? Sorry but fuck that. there is no 'fairy bread' without the sugary goodness that is sprinkles on a glorious layer of whatever margarine your mum had sitting in the fridge.

As I said, very passionate.

Homran squeezes the life out of some carrots and a poor unsuspecting cabbage, using their juices to dye coconut for the 'sprinkles'.

The video, which would have even Tinkerbell thinking 'the fuck is that' has received 11 thousand comments with some of my personal favourites saying "that's not fairy bread that's disappointed confetti butter with a side of toast."

EDITORS NOTE: Someone read this and said what does Tinkerbell have to do with this? She's a fairy. It's fairy bread.

That's the connection and I didn't want to take it out so here's the explanation for something I didn't think needed one.

Anyway, back to it.

"My villian origin story if I was served this" wrote one person with another writing ""I would absolutely riot if someone served me this at a party and called it fairy bread".

If you came into this story thinking, oh yeah a healthier version probably isn't the worst thing, please, for the well-being of your child, don't serve them some coloured coconuts and call it a good time.

If anything, ditch the marge and $1 white bread. Done. there's your healthy option.
