Princess of Wales appears for the first time since cancer diagnosis

It's been five months since the reveal of her surgery.

Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, attended the annual Trooping the Colour parade over the weekend.

Currently undergoing cancer treatment, this marks her first public appearance since her abdominal surgery in January. She announced in late March that she was undergoing preventative chemotherapy treatment for the cancer.

Along with her three kids, Kate rode in a covered carriage with before watching the annual military parade near Buckingham Palace.

The princess wore a white dress decorated with a striped white and navy ribbon and a broad-brimmed hat. Just Friday last week, she wrote a personal message saying that she was making good progress with her health, but was "not out of the woods" just yet. She mentioned she hopes to be able to join a few public engagements over Summer in the UK.
