Pāmu's Green Revolution

“The targets align with good farming, good business, and the challenges we all face," Leslie highlights.

Mark Leslie, CEO of Pāmu, outlines the company’s ambitious sustainability goals aimed at transforming New Zealand's farming landscape.

He says that Pāmu is striving for a 30% reduction in net greenhouse gas emissions by 2031, collaborating with major banks to incentivise eco-friendly practices with potential interest rate reductions.

Leslie also explores Pāmu’s commitment to gender diversity, aiming for 40% female representation in farming roles by 2030, which he explains is not only a progressive move but also a strategic one with financial benefits.

He notes the importance of creating supportive environments for women, emphasising the synergy between sustainability, gender equity, and financial innovation.
