I never thought I'd see the day, but Liam and Noel Gallagher have put their differences aside and have officially confirmed that they're going on a reunion tour next year!
Brothers and former bandmates Noel and Liam Gallagher ended years of reunion speculation by confirming they have buried the hatchet after 15 years and are going on tour in the U.K. and Ireland in 2025.
"The guns have fallen silent/The stars have aligned/The great wait is over/Come see/It will not be televised," they commented on their official website at 7pm last night (27 August).
The Oasis Live '25 tour will kick off at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on 4 and 5 July before moving on to Heaton Park in their hometown, Manchester, for four nights between 11 and 20 July.
The Wonderwall hitmakers will then take to the stage at London's Wembley Stadium for four nights between 25 July and 3 August, Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland on 8 and 9 August and Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland on 16 and 17 August.
The dates will mark their only shows in Europe next year, however, they are working on plans to go to other continents outside of Europe later in 2025.
The band announced the news on social media by posting a video montage of their live performances and audio of Noel and Liam - who famously fell out and broke up the group in 2009 - talking about each other. At the start, Noel says, "Me and him are like telepathic, you know what I mean? I know my brother better than anybody else. When we both come together, you have greatness."
In the caption, they shared the tour dates and the quote, "This is it, this is happening."
It is not yet known if the Gallaghers will be joined by guitarist Gem Archer and bassist Andy Bell, who were part of the line-up before the group disbanded in 2009.
Tickets go on sale on Saturday 31 August. If you're keen to try get one, fans are strongly advised to register with ticket agencies before the sale.
How good!
