Norsewear Supporting Homelessness With Sock Donation Initiative

"We can grow and employ more people in Norsewood," Deane says.

In a community-based initiative, for every pair of Norsewear socks purchased between the 1st and 31st of October, Norsewear will donate a pair to the Auckland City Mission in support of World Homeless Day this Thursday, October 10.

New owner Tim Deane highlights the legacy of Norsewear, famed for its Farmflak socks worn by Sir Edmund Hillary, and the brand's evolution into various sock categories.

With a focus on sustainability and local manufacturing, Deane expresses his optimism about New Zealand’s wool industry.
