Miles Teller reacts to his grandma's adorable campaign to make him the new James Bond

Grandma of the year goes to...

You never deny your grandma what she wants, and Miles Teller's grandmother wants to watch her grandson take on the role of the next 007.

On Twitter, Leona Flowers started talking up her grandson to be the next potential replacement for James Bond.

But that wasn't all - Leona tweeted more than ten times about Teller's suitability for the part, highlighting everything from his acting skills to his British and Irish ancestry.

"They're looking for an actor to replace Daniel Craig for future 007 movies," she wrote.

As if we need any convincing that Miles would be PERFECT for the role.

Fans quickly pointed out that Miles is American and the legendary 007 is British, but it didn't stop her from sneaking in another supporting tweet.

She also made sure to mention that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are fans of her grandchild in a final effort to convince the speculators.

"I think our English friends would welcome him as 007. The folks in London loved him when he was just there with the premiere of Top Gun Maverick. He even charmed William & Kate."

If that isn't a stamp of approval from the British, I don't know what is!

So, what does Miles think about the possible 007 role after all this campaigning from his grandmother?

"Yeah. I mean, yeah, perfect I think we're actors, you know, so maybe you can mix it up a little bit." Miles told ET.

Idris Elba and Regé-Jean Page have both been mentioned as potential Craig replacements, although James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli stated there isn't currently a frontrunner for the part in a June interview with People.

"There isn't a script and we can't come up with one until we decide how we're going to approach the next film because it's a reinvention of Bond," she said.

Could that mean serious consideration of Teller taking up the role? We sure hope so!
