With a cheeky early release in 2025, local fellah Phrase has teamed up with Canadian producer Aaron Payne & UK based singer songwriter Sydney Bryce for their record ‘Missed The Message’.
This track dances right up to the edge of what could be a dark and sinister liquid tune, but is brought back to what feels like a sexy seductive number that has a flirtatious feel about it all courtesy of the vocal top line of Sydney Bryce.
‘Missed The Message’ I can only assume portrays the idea about someone not quite reading the room properly and missing the message or vibe that’s being put out. Whether or not this is in a love interest capacity or not is up to the listener, but hey, still a great reminder to possibly be a little more self aware of you and your surroundings from time to time.
Social cue faux pas aside, this record is a beautiful one from all accounts and if you’re looking for a great addition to any red wine sipping or lazy Sunday playlists, you’ve found it!
