Kendrick Lamar Announces New Album "Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers"

Kung-Fu Kenny is back and more mysterious than ever.

The enigmatic genius that is Kendrick Lamar has finally announced that a new album is on the way, after posting a somewhat cryptic link to his website on Twitter.

The link itself takes you to oklama.com, where you'll find an official statement revealing the name of the album as well as the release date: Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers is out May 13.

Fans have been waiting for a full length solo project from the Compton native since 2017's DAMN, with some even questioning whether or not Kendrick had retired from music for good.

Lamar teased the record—his "final TDE album," as he described it—on a website launched in August 2021. "May the Most High continue to use Top Dawg as a vessel for candid creators. As I continue to pursue my life's calling," he wrote at the time. "There's beauty in completion. And always faith in the unknown." He signed the note, "Oklama."

We're just happy to see K Dot back in the game, May 13 can't come soon enough!
