Canterbury Farm Facilitator Heading To Masters World Cup

"Hockey has been a massive part of my life," O'Connell says.

Sarah O'Connell is a farm facilitator from Canterbury known for her dedication to both agriculture and sports.

O'Connell delves into the beef stud in Brookside specialising in Angus and Shorthorns she manages and discusses her role in organising the Canterbury Show amidst financial difficulties. 

She also talks about her new role with Deer Industry New Zealand, as well as her roles with Beef+Lamb NZ and the Ministry for Primary Industries, highlighting her commitment to aiding farmers through the On-Farm Support Service.

On a more sporting note, O'Connell touches on her upcoming trip to South Africa to represent New Zealand in the Masters Hockey World Cup, a sport she says has been such a significant part of her life for a long time.
