Aussie study finds which tradies are the least trustworthy

It’s a good day to be a locksmith.

Tradies, we know ‘em and we love ‘em. We literally would not have a roof over our heads without them.

Buuuuut, our neighbours across the ditch revealed a list of the least trustworthy trades, and we couldn’t help but yarn about it.

The results were based on the reviews from the app Service Seeking, which is an Aussie app that helps you find and hire local businesses.

Kinda like tradie Tinder.

The trade with the least satisfied customers in Australia were: Landscapers.

Concreters and pavers were up there too. Apparently anyone who specialises in outdoor work needs to step it up a notch.

Roofers also hung around near the top in the unsatisfactory category.

Unfortunately for these buggers, it’s a tough gig anywhere they go. They topped the UK's most recent list of ‘Least Trusted Trades’.

Carpenters and builders received some choice words too, but still averaged a 4.5/5. We’ll let it slide.

The good thing is some tradies across the ditch are doing things right. Structural engineers, window cleaners, carpet installers and plumbers were among the higher-rated gigs.

Out of the most satisfactory trades, electricians came in at fifth, with exterminators at number four.

Hold onto your tool belts - the higher the satisfaction, the more niche these trades become.

The bronze medal goes to TV Antenna Technicians. Silver goes to Asbestos Removalists, the absolute soldiers.

In first place, the most trusted trade is Locksmiths!

You can be sure that if you ever need a lock fixed, you are in some bloody good hands.

The Morning Rumble spoke about these ratings, and shared their own tradies they don’t trust. Turns out these fellas have had some bad runs ins too.
